Our state-of-the-art surgical center has been based on three founding principles in order to provide our community with better service and clear vision. Our professional staff strives to bring these values to every single patient interaction and encounter.
Excellence
We believe in treating our patients like family, and we always want to exceed our family’s expectations. When you visit our surgical facility, we will provide you with the best and treat you with the respect you deserve. Our surgical center meets or exceeds both U.S. and international standards for quality, and we regularly conduct internal and external research to promote continuous improvement and advance the field.
Compassion
Our team believes in collaboration, and providing friendly, comforting service and care. We’ll listen to any issues, concerns, or questions you may have regarding your surgery, and will work to give you answers and ease your concerns while making you feel heard and supported. In addition, we donate a portion of each dollar earned to help people in Guatemala receive cost-free, sight-restoring surgeries every month.
Outreach
Our community service goes far beyond our local area. Our team performs vital mission work, including trips to the Navajo Nation with the University of Utah Moran Eye Center Global Outreach Division. We also promote and provide ongoing resident and fellow education in Guatemala, and supply and support organizations donating sight-restoring equipment to developing nations in collaboration with the ALMA Foundation, the International Eye Institute, and the Global Endowment for Sight.
